Aston Marina

It's been another glorious day and the solar panels have been working well.

We set off down through Stone locks meeting boats at almost every one.  There were people everywhere, presumably because of the Food & Drink Festival still being on, and we had quite a large audience at Star Lock.

We got to Aston Marina at 1.30 and moored on the vistor moorings for a couple of hours while we recorded the Grand Prix and went in the Bistro for a really good Sunday roast lunch. Later on we moved into what will be our new home for a while and I've been chilling out in the sunshine while Roger caught up with the GP.

We're really impressed with what we've seen of the marina so far. The facilities are superb and everyone is really friendly.

Chico seems quite happy here too......

Hi both, hope you enjoy your stay at Aston. We really like it here. Staff are lovely. I'm staying onboard for a while in the marina while I serve my notice at work. We have bought a house in Overton, North Wales and will be moving on to Tattenhall in December. Rebus is moored in the second pound, on berth B7, just beyond the bridge on the left. Will look out for you.
Good to see you out and about.
Kindest Regards,
Sandra & Roly

Hi Sandra & Roly,
Sorry we missed you. I've only just picked up your message otherwise we'd have called in for a chat. Maybe catch up again sometime soon.

Hi both,
Noticed you'd left when I got back on Sunday. Sounds like you had a great, well deserved hols. Enjoy your onward travels and we will catch up again sometime. Heading out of Aston for Tattenhall next Wednesday, so will meet up with nb Henderson at Calveley!
Take care both,
Sandra & Roly
