The roof garden's back in place for now but no doubt there'll be more frosty nights to come.
It never ceases to amaze me how fast the time goes on the boat, there just never seem to be enough hours in the day. We called into the Navigation Inn at the end of the basin yesterday evening for a quick pint and a game of darts and somehow two and a half hours just disappeared! The local Beartown Brewery ales were on form but the pub was practically empty and we had the games room to ourselves. That was probably a good thing as neither of us has played darts for many years and it showed. Mind you, after 2 hours we were improving slightly and have vowed to make the effort to visit more pubs with dart boards - just to improve the darts you understand.
