Bolshy swans

As dusk fell on Tuesday evening a family of swans arrived in the mooring basin.  They pecked at the boat all night so we didn't get much sleep.  By the time we finally got up at 10 it was pouring with rain so we decided to stay here another day.  All the other boats had gone but as the rain just got heavier and heavier I'm glad we'd decided to stay.

The small river that runs through the culvert/tunnel under the M5 and then through the town, rose by about 6 ins during the day so if we'd been coming today I doubt we'd have got through it.

3 boats arrived late afternoon and shortly after, the rain stopped and the sun came out and it was a beautiful evening.

This is a mural opposite the moorings.

It's a community art project that was painted in May and will be on display for 4 months.

It's a beautiful morning again and we had a peaceful night's sleep, minus the swans, so we're going to carry on to Worcester today.
