A surprise visit

We had a surprise visit from our daughter and her partner yesterday afternoon. She'd been for her first scan and was so excited and so eager to show us the scan photographs that they drove 2 1/2 hours down to Worsley to see us.

It was lovely to see them and they stayed overnight before going to visit his parents to show them the photos.   They decided against learning the sex of the baby, which I'm glad of as it always seems to me like knowing what's in your Christmas presents before you unwrap them!
